Florida License Plates is not affiliated with FLHSMV, the State of Florida, any county tax collector, license plate agency, law-enforcement agency, court, toll authority or federal agency. Names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

No Official Transactions

We do not issue plates, temporary tags, titles, permits, decals or registrations. We do not renew or cancel a registration, collect government fees, schedule appointments, clear holds, receive insurance proof or access government accounts.

No Private Owner Lookup

We do not provide unrestricted access to a registered owner’s name, address, phone number, driver-license data or other protected information. Public-record access is controlled by federal and state law. The plate research field does not transmit the entered plate to our server.

Information Can Change

Statutes, forms, fees, office hours, online services, plate designs and agency procedures can change without notice. Last-verified dates show when we reviewed important sources; they are not a guarantee that every office or transaction follows an unchanged process. Verify on the responsible official website before traveling, signing documents or paying.

The lookup control connects visitors to an independent vehicle-history provider. We do not operate the provider database, and a result is not an official FLHSMV record. Free previews and paid reports may differ. Never treat a plate match as proof of ownership or identity; compare the returned VIN with the vehicle and official documents.
